Call for Papers
Eighth EI International Conference: Oxford 2014 – April 9-11: Hope in the Ecumenical Future
The Eighth Ecclesiological Investigations International Conference will be jointly staged at Ripon College, Cuddesdon and Oxford University between April 9-11 2014. The theme will be Hope in the Ecumenical Future – ecumenism here being understood in its wider sense to include interfaith and broader forms of dialogue.
We invite short paper contributions that focus on issues such as the concept and role of hope in the ecumenical movement, method in ecumenical and interfaith dialogue and explorations in what the future holds in store for ecclesial, interfaith and church-world dialogue if signs that the ecumenical winter may be drawing to a close prove true.
We invite proposals for individual shorter papers of 20 minutes in duration.
Group and joint proposals, as well as proposals for sessions and themes are also welcome.
Please submit an abstract of no more than 200 words via the online form here. Please make sure you also submit your name, country, institution and email address along with the full title and abstract of your paper.
